Projects
Technology tools, model legislation, hardware prototypes, and AI systems — built in the open to make civic participation practical and accessible.
TVN Vault
AlphaAn encrypted local workspace — notes, databases, and double-entry accounting with SQLCipher encryption. No cloud, no telemetry. Your passphrase is the only key.
No Solos Alpha
AlphaA community raid boss game for conventions and events. Attendees scan a QR code, pick a hero class, and join the fight against OUTRAGE — an evil corpo AI boss on the big screen. Vanilla JavaScript, hand-drawn sprites, runs on a phone. The spectacle is the conversation starter; the mission is what comes after.
PTAA
Draft FrameworkThe Political Transparency and Accountability Act — a model legislative framework requiring real-time PAC donor disclosure, banning anonymous pass-through contributions, and establishing a Citizen Oversight Corps for public auditing of political finance.
SORS
ActiveThe Snow Operations Reporting System makes invisible labor visible through structured data collection. It documents snow removal work — conditions, time spent, equipment used — turning an undervalued job into a measurable, accountable record.
Sentry / Snow Stakes
PrototypeA hardware companion to SORS — physical markers and sensor systems that support snow operations reporting with real-world reference points for documentation and accountability.
Wayfinder
In DevelopmentAI-guided learning layers for open-source creative tools like Godot, GIMP, and Blender. Inspired by gaming overlays like Deadly Boss Mods — Wayfinder highlights the next action in real-time, gives context on why, and waits for the human to execute. Guided mastery, not automation.
Nimbus
In DevelopmentNimbus is RIT's civic AI — named after the founder's cockatiel — built to keep real conversations honest. It transcribes live discussions, fact-checks claims against verified sources, flags misunderstandings and escalation, and marks moments of agreement. Privacy is architectural: anonymity is the default, personalization stays on your device, and identity-sharing between participants is opt-in on both sides. Human moderators review high-impact decisions — the AI advises, never overrules.
